Program Format All courses are the equivalent of 2 credits and each class meets for 3 hours 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm one day a week. The 16 week semester is divided into two 8 week sessions allowing students flexibility in scheduling classes. While programs are geared towards part-time study and the majority of our students are full time working professionals, students including those in F-1 visa status can pursue courses on a full time basis in the MBA and MS programs by taking ten (10) or more credits per semester to maintain full time student status. We offer part-time programs that can be completed on a full-time basis. Your degree and diploma reflect the same coursework and information whether you complete it over a 2 year plan or an accelerated format.
The Fall is divided into 2 sections - Fall 1 and Fall 2, each are 8 weeks long. We recommend that you take two 2-credit classes during each 8 week section, giving you a total of 8 completed credits for the entire fall semester. The same is recommended for the Spring semester. The Summer session is one 8-week session.
Our semesters are broken down into 5 eight weeks terms. Students can take up to five courses per eight week term, but that could/would be very stressful for someone who works 40+ hours per week. Most of our students take 2-3 courses per 8 week term. This does not mean that you could not potentially complete the degree within your preferred frame of time. However, it would require considerable time management to balance work, school and home life.
