目前还没碰见同学是直升的。 MBA不是万金油，对于不同职业路线的价值完全不同。先去社会体会一下有什么感兴趣的工作机会，再想想值不值每天花300刀来读书。

Would you pls share some insight on the school's strengths and weaknesses in real estate?

Some say Sloan has a great real estate program, but from the employment report, I barely see graduates going into that field...

Sorry not interested in Real Estate so haven't been digging around it much... With that said, i'm not sure if MIT is the right school for you if you are a hardcore Real Estate guy - I haven't seen any speciality programs from Sloan that sponsors real estate related activities.

My question is regarding how MIT Sloan place their students in S&T/IB scene. In finance, MIT is not ranked very high (around 6 schools ranking higher). How is the recruiting in Sloan? Top IB come to MIT to receruit Physics/Math/CS students, thats for sure, but how are Sloanies doing?

我先来回答一下。Gmat分数够了，7年工作经验比较长，如果经历过promotion和function的转变，简历要写清楚。你有国外工作的经验，这很好，Essay可以突出一些怎么lead不同culture的人的经历。
个人觉得硬件可以，重点是把esssay的故事写好。还是很有希望的。

Top IB firms come to Sloan for sure. We have many I bank presentations, on campus office hours, New York banking day, when sloanies visit 6 I banks in NYC. But IB job, especially in US, highly relies on networking. You have to visit and talk with bankers in order to have an inverview. Most Asian students from M7 would also visit HK I banks.
The IB job hunting is about determination and market. If you are highly determined and the market is not that bad, you would certainly find an IB job. Last year, I know several Sloanies got top IB offers in both IBD and S&T.
But as far as I know, there  are less ppl looking for IB jobs in Sloan than those in other B schools.
