Top IB firms come to Sloan for sure. We have many I bank presentations, on campus office hours, New York banking day, when sloanies visit 6 I banks in NYC. But IB job, especially in US, highly relies on networking. You have to visit and talk with bankers in order to have an inverview. Most Asian students from M7 would also visit HK I banks. The IB job hunting is about determination and market. If you are highly determined and the market is not that bad, you would certainly find an IB job. Last year, I know several Sloanies got top IB offers in both IBD and S&T. But as far as I know, there are less ppl looking for IB jobs in Sloan than those in other B schools.
Thanks for the good initiative. My question is regarding how MIT Sloan place their students in S&T/IB scene. In finance, MIT is not ranked very high (around 6 schools ranking higher). How is the recruiting in Sloan? Top IB come to MIT to receruit Physics/Math/CS students, thats for sure, but how are Sloanies doing? -- by 会员 infu (2010/12/5 21:09:06)
