请教一道题，GWD和白勇都有，白勇第四章动词形式18题

Several financial officers of the company spoke on condition that they not be named in the press reports.

A. that they not be named
B. that their names will not be used
C. that their names are not used
D. of not having their names
E. of not naming them

此题白勇说选A，因为条件从句固定搭配on condition that
B中条件从句不能使用将来时，C中条件从句使用一般现在时与主句一般过去时不一致，错；
但是GWD31套里答案是C。
我觉得白勇对……

这道题我一开始选A 想法是 on condition that + 虚拟语气 A选项是省略了should的虚拟

这样想对么一对答案是C 应该是答案错了吧？

He can use the bicycle on condition (that) he returns it tomorrow 这是iciba 上一个例子如果用should 的话那么应该是return 而不是returns.
on condition that是引导真实条件句的而不是虚拟语气（非真实条件句）的标志。所以我觉得严格来说 on condition that 应该不是虚拟语气，跟if 引导的从句一样，A选项中缺少了个would.而且 they would not be named 他们不会被提名？他们不会被命名？
跟句子的原意有差别。
