The Jesse H. Jones Graduate School ofBusiness at Rice University is proud to announce the launch of its Ph.D. program in StrategicManagement, withadmittance to the program starting in the Fall of 2011. We areactively recruiting highly qualified applicants. The Ph.D. program in StrategicManagement complements previously launched programs in Marketing and Finance. APh.D. program in Accounting is also being launched in the Fall of 2011.

The main goal of our doctoral program isto train students to do high-quality research in the field and to prepare themfor careers as professors of strategic management at top academic researchinstitutions. The academic job market for Ph.D.s in Strategic Management hasbeen strong, the pay is good, and the work is rewarding.

We have a strong faculty group with agreat record of publishing in premier strategic management journals. Ourfaculty currently include four Full Professors (Bill Glick, Bob Hoskisson,Gerry Sanders, and Duane Windsor), five Associate Professors (Prashant Kale,Balaji Koka, Haiyang Li, Doug Schuler, and Anthea Yan Zhang), and one AssistantProfessor (Margaret Cording).  Virtually all of our faculty have servedand worked with doctoral students in a range of capacities. For instance,faculty members have guided doctoral students at programs at the University ofMichigan, Texas A&M University, the University of Oklahoma, and ArizonaState University as well as served as external committee members for Ph.D.students at such institutions as Rice University, the University of Texas,University of Colorado, University of Missouri, and Ivey Business School, amongothers. This group has a strong record of publishing in premier strategicmanagement journals such as Academy ofManagement Journal, Academy ofManagement Review, StrategicManagement Journal, OrganizationScience, and Journal ofInternational Business Studies. Our Ph.D. program provides opportunitiesto be fully engaged in research projects. The structure of our program isfocused not only on formal seminars but also the craft of scholarship throughapprentice style–working relationships, including required first and secondyear papers. We will emphasize the areas of strategic management, internationalbusiness, technology management and entrepreneurship. 只有美国的本科才能waive 托福，学分不能转，可以提交Research Proposal

看来没有托福成绩，雅思过期的我，就不要瞎折腾了。可是最近天气太糟，我总想着能不能逃离。。。。。

Dan Dan, do you know what is "APhD" or it is just "a PhD"? I am confused because they have had a Accounting PhD program for a long time, so what is this new one about? Thanks.

1330仅就gre一项来说 肯定是过低的。我就知道有个1500++的要申rice 因为她gap不高。当然你其他方面超牛就另当别论
