   这个题目我研究了一个下午，还是有些不明白的地方，E选项的misinterpret them when they do appear中这个them和tehy到底指的是什么，我越看越糊涂，THEM指代EXECUTIVE吗？可是不因该用复数阿？或者说是指代signs?我一直以为them和they都是指的一个对象，难道是signs, 对吗？

有点不明白的是B选项，为什么og上的解释说the modifier when they do appear is misplaced?
E的位置不是和它一样吗？

这题我曾经也纠结了很久，因为潜意识总是觉得Being不对。。。they/them都是只signs. B选项意思就不对，executives是不可能makes missing signs of incipient trouble or misinterpreting ones likely when they do appear.

B的意思是不对 不过我很难理解他为什么说the modifier when they do appear is misplaced，这个when的状语从句是修饰什么的啊。。

them和they的指代必须是一样的，在一个句子中。
在这个句子中指代的都是signs。
