我认为这题的答案应该是E。

句子的主干：The country's currency continued its slide to a record low against the dollar, which forced the central bank to intervene for the fourth time in a week.

大致翻译下哈：“这个国家的货币，受政府和国际货币组织的协议带来的顾虑以及通货膨胀预期的削弱，对于美元汇率持续下跌；迫使国家中央银行一周内四次干预”。

什么因素迫使国家中央银行一周内四次干预？当然是汇率下跌。所以说WHICH从句一点没错。

如果我们把which引导的从句换成forcing,意思会发生什么改变呢：

The country's currency continued its slide to a record low against the dollar, forcing the central bank to intervene for the fourth time in a week.

forcing的逻辑主语变成了the country's currency, currency本身不会force中央银行一周干预四次的，是currency对美元的保持记录的下跌force央行干预。
