Reminder:  Those of you who registered for the Open Door Sessions in Beijing (Nov. 6 @ Grand Hyatt Beijing) and Shanghai (Nov. 8 @ Fairmont Peace Hotel), an email with the details of the events has been sent to you on Wednesday.  lease reply to confirm your attendance if you haven't done so.

Tips:  - Dress code is professional.  No jeans, no sneakers please.  Dress the same when you go to a formal business meeting.
         - You could bring a CV with you to give to Prof. Morisset if you want.
         - Please ask good questions.  Meaning, things that you can find easily on our website, i.e. what's the tuition fee, what's the application process, how to send in recommendation letter... please do not ask.

学校回复说不能申请EFFIEL奖学金
只有三个企业奖学金， 好象挺难申请的，
剩下ESSEC自己设立的奖学金，是不是也很难申请到呢，
可以谈谈吗

Hi, thanks for all the sharing!
I am also very interested in the Luxury brand management area. I have worked at a big four accounting firm for a little bit over 3 years in HK, "killed" G&T already, got 770 and 118 respectively.
I noticed from your website that the program only recruites 40-45 people a year, that's a very small number, I wonder if someone like me with only 3 yrs of working experience not even in the industry will be at disadvantage?
Also, can you share more on the post mba career situation for Chinese students? Do they normally go back to China? Is it possible to work in Europe (France, London ect) or even the States?

It's not that difficult.  For the company scholarships, all recipients are Chinese for our class, hehe.  For the ESSEC scholarships, the Excellence scholarship may be challenging, it's 20,000 euro, so a lot of people will apply.  But you will still have opportunities to get it.  And for the social scholarship, it depends on your financial needs.  As long as you can prove that you need the money, you will get it.

We have a few accountants in our class.  So it's not a disadvantage.  You'll actually be very popular in our accounting classes : )  Your G&T scores are incredible!
For career situation, it really depends on yourself, especially your language ability.  If you want to work in France, you have to speak fluent French, have to!  It's possible to work in London and the states.  One of our field trips is to HK or NY.  half of the class go to HK, and the other half go to NY.  If you really want to work in the states, you can apply for the NY group.  But keep in mind that if you don't have a work permit in UK or the US, it's very difficult to get one, which will prevent you from working there.  
Also, the future of the luxury industry is in China, so there're more opportunities in China.  
I really wanted to stay in France at the beginning.  Now I'm gradually changing my mind for a few reasons.  My classmate from HK feels the same.  We'll see.

how to apply for such scholarship ?
for company scholarship ,  should we apply for it before addimtted by essec ?
for essec scholarship , i heard we should apply for it when we are addimtted by essec and  arrive at essec campous , right ?
