Hi Blackcasper,
It is a bad idea to hide things from an admissions committee because they can use it to ding you even after you are enrolled. You should disclose your Calculus class and then use your additional essay to explain why you did not do well at first (personal reasons etc) and dont believe that the grade really reflects your acadermic performance. Then you make a plan and tell the school that you are going to retake Calculus. Find an online course or a night course to take this winter or Spring break. Hope this helps! James Wynne |
