我不想选 ABC  因为觉得the man-eater of the movies是插入的 想用两个，来隔开  然后D又是人和数字比所以想选E  答案偏偏是B......

E不平行   因为前面是people have been killed 后面要平行 也应该是have been killed       所以B达到平行   只是我也有个疑问   这里不需要加个fewer than those have been吗？

我也不知道呀  谢谢你的回答哈 也许这个题就是有点问题吧 不懂。。。。

用排除法
首先可以排除AC 因为人是可数的 要用fewer
D也可以排除掉 因为a number和people比较对象不相同
E也肯定不行 E中的the ones指的是被鲨鱼杀掉的那seven people  他们不可能再死于别的原因了
所以最后只能选B了
