个人觉得这样的话是解释那个it（其实就是 Sacagawea dollar coin ) 但 ,far less than在句中到底是什么成份啊？
状语？宾补？还是....  困惑

这题考的是parallelism， than前后应该对称，而且没有more ... rather than这种结构，所以选CC中，我觉得it指代的内容是Sacagawea dollar coin，因为Sacagawea dollar coin是句子的主语，而且the dollar bill也不可能有8.1grams重啊～ 我认为"far less than the quaters"在这里可以理解为"weights"的状语，为状语后置现象，移到前面就是"it weights, far less than the quaters, which weigh 5.67 grams each, only 8.1 grams."后置是因为状语太长而宾语太短，避免句子重心不平衡。

根据BYP218 (白勇语法218页）

状语的5中形式：副词、介词短语、-ing形式、不定式、状语从句
以上状语形式可以修饰动词、形容词、另一副词、介词、连词甚至整个句子
具体，在本句中far less than four quarters, which ... ，less (adv)引导的状语修饰weighs。

请讨论。

同意楼上 far less...结构做状语的说法
但是依照BY的说法 far less结构为什么算状语从句呢 没有引导词怎么说是从句啊？？
