1题目中的第一个句子of all。。。，在整句中起什么作用，是状语吗？
2时态问题，. OG解释说 the second part of the sentence uses the past tense verb brought,indicating that the event is over. the verb used in the comparative construction must also be past tense.请问怎么理解它的解释，过去时brought在修饰wave的从句中，为什么这个时态能决定主句用什么时态？那么为什么这道题要用过去时呢？

1. yep, of all做状语。
2. 其实本句有省略，还原之后是：
perhaps none was more concentrated than (was) the wave that brought 12 million immigrants onto American shores in little more than three decades.
被省略的was是由brought决定的，因为要保持时态一致，而这个was能够省略是因为跟前面none was中的was一致才省略的。
所以前面要用was。

被省略的was是由brought决定的，因为要保持时态一致，而这个was能够省略是因为跟前面none was中的was一致才省略的。
所以前面要用was。

为什么brought决定了was呢。如果说，我以一个活在当下的人来诉说一个既定的事实，我也可以说none is more concentrated than 那个过去的曾发生的wave啊。。

这个我试着解释下。。不知道对不对哈~
little修饰的是more than，表达的是“30年多一点点”，是表示一个程度。
像far, a little, a bit, much, a lot, a great deal, any, even, still, slightly都可以用来修饰more than的~
