Hello there!  The answer to your question is that yes, it is very possible for Chinese applicants to get into HBS Round 2.  We worked with two such applicants last year who are now at HBS.  : )   The key is to submit your best possible application no matter what Round you submit.  It doesnt need to be Round 1--we would rather that you submit an A+ application during Round 2, than a B+ application during Round 1.  Better to submit an A+ application Round 1 than an A+ application Round 2--but the Round issue isnt worth submitting a bad application over.
