D选项的someone不会产生歧义，相反，正是因为有了它才更清晰。原因如下：
1.句子被分号而不是逗号隔开，则说明前后均是一个完整的句子。若如C选项，错误可就大了。一个句子有两个谓语do，这个错误很明显。

2.因为后面是完整的句子，所以someone在这里充当着主语。后面的who comes in for a basketball是对主语someone的限定修饰。
