新东方补充教材388题，我认为这个题目全错。

老师上课讲过，同样的一个代词在一个句子中只可以指代同一个对象。那么下面这个题目，不管你选哪一个，they都指代了两个不同的对象。

大家看，句子划线部分后面的那个them。它肯定是用来指代children的。因为句子的逻辑意思是，老人更有可能提供经济援助给他们的孩子，而不太可能从孩子那里获得援助。
那么再看划线部分，A,B,C,D,E五个选项都使用了“their children”的表达方式。那么这里又用their来指代老人了。
所以违反了一个句子里同一个代词只能指代一个对象的原则，都错！
