请教这句的结构，如何分析呢？

I'm not 100% sure, but I think "more so than those who retired completely." modifies the action "reported high marital satisfaction," explaining how satisfied these women are.

我觉得so应该指代的是前面的women reported high marital satisfaction这个简单主谓宾结构吧，欢迎讨论！

同意silent的想法，so在这里指代前面的动作。
仔细看看这个比较发现与其他的比较结构还是有差异的，
一般常见的比较结构是：women who took ... are more than those who... 在这里比较都是名词结构，women who& those who；
而这个句子是：women who took ... reported high satisfaction, more (so) than those who... 在这里逻辑上虽然还是比较两个名词，但是前面的比较部分是整个句子，所以不能仅仅用those who这个名词形式来并列，所以要加一个so，不过我也不知道为什么so要加在more than之间...
