All the colleges are the same as far as their academic level, except for Trinity College, which is where students with especially high grades go; still, the most important thing in choosing a college is to think about what you want, socially and academically, then choose a college accordingly.

I can't stress enough that no matter which college you sign up for at UofT, you'll be learning the same things as anyone else at another college at UofT. So don't sweat choosing the college; just be sure you're choosing somewhere that is comfortable for you.
Since you'll be taking sciences, it would probably be best to not choose victoria just because most of your courses will then be very far from your residence. Otherwise, University College, Woodsworth College, New College, and Innis are all close to the places where most of your courses will be. University College, incidentally will be opening a brand new residence in 2005 and Woodsworth is opening a new one in late 2004.
