OG12 SC 67题 it 指代问题（这个问题仿佛没人问）

Algeria was always insecure.

(D) without that, they could never be secure about their grip on Algeria
(E) never would their grip on Algeria be secure if they did not hold it

请问为什么C和E选项就存在it就有可能是指代Morocco或者Algeria的问题，但是其他选项的it就没有指代问题呢？

it放前面没有歧义，放在后面就有了~~~

有就近指代一说，prep语法笔记上这么讲，那么那两项的指代就有问题了

恩 我觉得也是就近指代问题
it应该指代French
CD两项会有it指代French或者Algeria的歧义

大家有没有考虑过画线部分前出现的那个they是指代谁的呢？我觉得是the French，因为他们有interest，M是被人家有兴趣的，所以they不会是他们，因此后面的it就应该是M了~欢迎拍砖~

they指代的是french，it可能指代morroco或者algeria

they指法国人。法国人一大堆，总不能用he or she来指代。

it的位置很讲究，GMAT里面一般都是向前指代的。C/E里面, it之前有A和M, 而正确选项里面, it之前只有M。所以it位置的改变造成了C/E里面it指代不清。
