已經花一小時消化所有相關帖子 但幾個問題一直沒有被定論  苦求最後定論  感恩
1.想問 A 省略in只是為了簡潔吧 補出來會影響句意嗎?
2. A改成since 還會對嗎 ?  ==>  Less than 35 years since the release of African honeybees outside Sao Paulo
, Brazil,
3.整句話的時間順序應該是 在祖先離開後的35年內,後代一直遷移吧

Less than 35 years after the release of African honeybees前面省略的应该是within吧！
in是一个时点，意思是：在Afri honeybee被放到SP后的三十年间，后代已经迁移到了……这样的话，用since就不对了！

umm...补出in在语法上没有问题的，时间状语在没有歧义的情况下可以省略介词.
in/over/during a period都可以跟完成时搭配，但具体是否与完成时搭配还是要看逻辑含义.
用since也可以，因为当后面是一个时点的时候since和after是一个意思。

Their is a possessive pronoun that refers back to "african honeybees" as the antecedent is the only thing to which "their" can refer. The pronoun is just taking the place of the noun honeybees and this problem has nothing to do with the "subject of a clause."

The problem with my brother is that he is just nuts about the GMAT.

In the above example the personal pronoun "he" clearly refers back to my brother. "He" is a subjective personal pronoun in that "he" can take a verb. In this case "subjective" doesn't mean that it must replace the main subject, or "the problem" in this example sentence.

I think the takeaway is that subjective pronouns can act as subjects but don't necessarily have to replace subjects. Further, pronouns replace nouns and you need to concern yourself with unambiguity to make sure that the pronouns agree. In the original problem "their" was outside the underlined portion and it was abundantly clear that "their" replaced "honeybees."

umm...补出in在语法上没有问题的，时间状语在没有歧义的情况下可以省略介词.
in/over/during a period都可以跟完成时搭配，但具体是否与完成时搭配还是要看逻辑含义.
用since也可以，因为当后面是一个时点的时候since和after是一个意思。

那里都有大侠的身影啊，请问选项C如果改正了被动态，写成 In less than the 35 years since African honeybees were released outside San Paulo, Brazil, their descendants, popularly known as killer bees, had migrated as far north as southern Texas. 这样对吗？ 换句话说，原来选项的一个错误是前面的时间状语里错用了过去完成时，导致主句的过去完成时失去原来的意义。

这句话可以倒一下，
Their（African honeybees’） descendants, popularly known as killer bees, had migrated as far north as southern Texas less than 35 years after the release of African honeybees outside Sao Paulo, Brazil.

这样感觉会更好理解一点。 这里less than 35 years after~ 可以理解为一个时间点，例如，如果release of African honeybees是在1950年的话， 那粗体部分就可以改为before1985.
原句就是，killer bees had immigrated ~~~ before 1985. 即在1985年以前就已经迁徙了。过去完成时强调在这个时间点以前。
所以我觉得也不用考虑省略不省略的问题吧... 这里并没有省略什么
