关于比较的几个纠结题～求解

我也是拜读过庖丁解牛等关于比较问题的讲义的，但是对于以下这几个题目还是不能触类旁通，望大仙们给予指点或给我提供些相关资料，不胜感激～
1. According  to surbeys by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, about 20 percent of young adults used cocaine in 1979, doubling those reported in the 1977 survey.
A. doubling those reported in the 1977 survey.
B. to double the number the 1977 suvcey reported.
C. twice those the 1977 survey reported.

就是这几个典型的吧，能不能给小弟分析下？谢谢各位牛人啦～

不是牛人，瞎说几句吧，呵呵
第一题我觉得E好。
句意是说79年的青年染毒率比77年的（染毒率）翻番了，是数字与数字的比较。
A；those指代不明
B；to do结构不对
C；those不对
D；不可数名词比较才用as much as

第二题选C
结构是伴随状语，毙掉BDE。比较对象是现在的the construction industry's economic health，与五年前的the construction industry's economic health。所以是C。A的话，比较对象是“健康状况”和“五年前”--无意义的比较

第三题选E
说的是锻炼使冠心病人的致死几率比不锻炼的病人（的致死几率）低，“锻炼的病人”比“不锻炼的病人”less likely to death。此时的比较对象是人和人。

不知这样解释对不对。。。抛砖引玉而已，期待真正牛人指正~

第一题觉得只有CE提供了主语和谓语的搭配。相比选E更好一些吧，只是不知道percent这类东西用number平行好不好好不好。
第二题在AC之间吧，状语比较貌似是直接加状语，所以选A吧

第二题我也是纠结于A于C之间到底状语比较这个补出的问题。
第三题B为什么不行呢？
