An I-20 is necessary when applying for an F1 student visa. To determine which documents are required to obtain your UT Dallas I-20, please visit the UT Dallas ISSO website. Please submit to the ISSO these documents within 5 business days of receiving this email. You may send your documents by email to ISSOProspective@utdallas.edu or by fax to 972 883 4010.
If you have already submitted the financial and immigration documents necessary to receive a UT Dallas I-20, you will receive an email from the ISSO within 2 business days with instructions. This email will be sent to your UT Dallas email address. If you haven't yet set up your UT Dallas email address, please contact the UT Dallas help Desk at assist@utdallas.edu for assistance in setting up or accessing your UT Dallas email account.
We strongly recommend that you verify the mailing address UT Dallas has for you. To do so, use your UT Dallas NetID to log into Orion. Click on “Self Service” then “Student Center,” and there you will be able to see and update your contact information. lease contact the UT Dallas help Desk at assist@utdallas.edu for assistance in setting up or accessing your UT Dallas Orion account.
If you change your mailing information after you have been admitted, or if you are not currently studying at another U.S. school but you will use a U.S. address as your mailing address, notify the ISSO at ISSOProspective@utdallas.edu. It will aid us in ensuring you receive your admission letter and I20 in a timely manner.
UT Dallas can send your I-20 by regular or express mail. As a default we will mail your packet via regular mail. To specifically choose express mail, you must follow the instructions in the ISSO Express Mail webpage.
