I don't know your situation. But in my case, I need to clarify why I forfeit current program and apply to Columbia. And what is extremely important is that you MUST do DUE DILIGENCE (or research) of the program to pinpoint the exact point that attracts you. I concentrated on the working and study interest. Nothing more~ Hopefully, I answered your question.

hehe~ I'm still considering how to deal with such problem. I think I'd better ask somebody in Columbia to see their suggestions~
