逻辑主语是response啊，我个人觉得第二个that不需要有，因为整个都是response的内容。不知道哪里理解错了。。

我感觉后面的两个it都指代的是 the philosopher’s new work ，如果要选E的话，就会有歧义吧

E中,not heretical, like some have asserted, instead...的结构是: not+adj. but rather+sentence. 不符合一致性.没有C好.

而且, as some have asserted it to be中it 不知道究竟指谁.这种不明确的指代出现,是一定错的.

1、as+clause like+noun：排除BD

2、parallelism（not that...but that）宾语平衡：排除AB

3、logical predication（改变原意）：排除DE

4、sentence structure（but..it..变成与主句并列）：排除BE
