would是虚拟的用法? 这句话的意思有与过去事实相反吗???

注意  时态  in the past 过去本属于公司的  但现在 不是
所以用 would

与过去事实相反的虚拟条件句。

用于与过去事实不相符的情况表示惋惜、遗憾等。条件状语从句中的谓语动词用“过去完成时”,主句中的谓语动词则用“would / should / might / could + have + 过去分词”。如:

If he had taken my advice, he would have succeeded in the competition.

如果他接受了我的建议,他在比赛中就会成功了。

If anything had happened, he would have let us know. 如果发生了什么情况,他早就通知我们了。

If we had found him earlier we might have saved his life. 如果我们早点找到他,我们或许已把他救活了。

If it hadn’t been for their support, we couldn’t have won the election. 要不是有他们的支持我们不可能赢得选举

“公司在过去会认输”,若为虚拟,与过去事实相反,即公司在过去会认输这一事实是不成立的。不知道我这么理解“与过去事实相反”是不是正确的???
但这样就违背原意了。
