a&m ranked 23th!?

a&m ranked 23th. rice & penn state both    are 45th.



can you belive it? what's wrong with us news?


i think everybody in the south knows rice's bschool    is lot more better than a&m's.

I can not believe it.     I have to make    a choice between UIUC and Rice. Because I want to concentrate in Finance, most people said that Rice is better, but in the ranking, UIUC's ranking    is far higher than Rice.


How can I choose the right school???

I am totally shocked when look new USNEWS ranking.     In BW forum hot debate already start.     I catch some info of Rice. Regardless low Gmat, other index of Rice can compete with    schools ranked around 30

lorena 妹妹， I am also frustrated by this ranking,     why there is such huge change in the ranking of these two schools.


I have not send the deposit yet, maybe I have to rethink carefully.


But I believe the ranking is only a reference, not be the only critiera to choose school.

US News new rankings what a piece of crap. They just have bizarre outliers like Maryland in past and now Rice and Smeal to name a few.Also the surprise break in of OSU Fisher in the top 20 etc.    Texas A&M, Minnessota, Fisher, UIUC, Eller all top 30 school, the new rankings just prove how flawed thier ranking methodology is and make me wonder if USNews receives kickbacks from wannabe top 30 US Biz school.    Year to year rankings should not fluctuate that much. I feel the only credible ranking source left is BW.
