这题目关键应该在于最后那个LIMIT的单复数问题吧，我手中有两个答案，一个选C一个选D。。。。。。。我个人觉得应该是D吧，that limit修饰的不就是前面那个struggles 么？。。。。。求助大家！~~~~

想问下后面的they究竟指代前面the ant还是the species呢？
the species泛指整个物种时必须用they么??

我也觉得选D，species就是物种的意思，用代词应该是单数
但是后面那个句子中 的they 指的应该是because they are so genetically similar to one another, the ants consider all their fellows to be close relatives and thus do not engage in the kind of fierce intercolony struggles that limit

they 应该是指the ants,前面那个是从句嘛~
