因为前面有两个人名 King Henry VIII 和Queen Catherine ，所以要明确是谁和Anne Boleyn结婚

so as to 不是和句子主语要一致吗？我觉得这句句子里so as to 很清楚是指主语King Henry 啊……

so  as  to前面有两个动词,sought和have,所以可以是sought...so as to 或者是have ...annulled  so  as to ,并且have sth done 这里面是存在第3个人的,就好像i  have my hair cut一样,是理发师cut hair.

再者,我们自己是可以句子想表达的意思,在从语法上看就是有歧义,可理解为
1 King 使他和queen的婚姻无效,为了他能和...结婚
2 king使他和queen的婚姻无效,为了queen可以和...结婚.

顺便让我想到了一直不太清楚地代词指代问题。
我想请教一下是不是理论上来说代词可以指代它本身之前出现的所有平行的可指代对象（如果前面的被指代对象单复数一致就可能产生指代不清的错误），而如果可指代对象单复不同，比如一单两复，后面的it就可以确定是指单数那个（这就可能产生句子意思错误）？然后代词优先指代句子主语对吗？

即便是i have my hair cut（by sb），这里的主句主语还是“i”，那么i也还是 so as to 的主语~ 不会涉及第三人呀。
所以还是不太明白这个题，请NN指点！

for instance,
i am so ugly as to be viscerally repulsive to women. --> this works, because the verb “to be” describes a state/condition.
i am so ugly as to repel women on sight. --> you generally wouldn't see this in good writing, as “repel” is an action verb; the sentence would probably be written as i am so ugly that i repel women on sight.
