IA -> FC - CFO -> CEO?  ossible (everything is) but unlikely ....
M7 -> Management leadership program / consulting -> mid/senior level management -> CEO? Again, possible but a little bit more likely ~~~
Anyway, either IA or MBA will only be the very very first step toward your goal. To me, the biggest difference is that the latter will give you many more options besides your current aspiration~
I happened to have interviewed with LVMH two years ago for the same position you're considering. I didn't get the job, but since we have similar backgrounds so I might be able to provide you with some useful insights.
I wasn't very keen in getting into the luxury good industry, so I didn't take that opportunity very seriously (which explains why I didn't get an offer). If you know for sure that's something you want to pursue, then you should go for it. You do realize LVMH has many brands under its umbrella, right? So I'd say your future prospect of becoming a regional FC is very achievable. Can a MBA from M7 get you there? Sure, but might not be a FC in the same industry. I guess it all depends on whether you want to stick to accounting, the profession. In my opinion, you don't need a MBA to continue your career path in accounting. CPA designation and big4 background is enough. Get a EMBA few years down the road if you want to take the jump from FC to CFO and let your employer pick up the tab. M7 MBA can help you career switch into something other than accounting. But if you don't intend to, then this LVMH opportunity is pretty good. Not to mention the perks that come with international travel.
I happen to know that LVMH DOES go to Kellogg for recruiting too (not just CBS HBS). However, JDMBA -> LVMH?
