OG上给的解释 "the verb used in the comparative construction must be past tense,x(none) was more concentrated than y(the wave)".这里我不明白，既然该句所述的历史时间是一个既定的事实，为什么不能用现在时表示一个不变的真理和事实呢？

从后面看：the wave that brought 12 million....

都应该用过去时。

我的意思是，虽然文中出现了过去事态的标志，但是“大概没有一个比在三十年内移了12million移民的那一次（移民潮）更集中”这是一个历史事实，所以阐述这个事实时能不能有现在时呢？
还是只要出现了向ls说的那些过去事态的标志词，就应该用过去时？

我觉得这题应该考虑Of all the vast tides of migration that have swept through history，这个have swept说明这些migration waves都是过去发生过了，所以比较它们应该是过去式。

客观真理用现在式，一般都用标志性的词语，如statisitic show，theory,或者阐述一个物理定律的时候吧。这个只是说明一个单独的历史事实，不是一个普遍存在的，万古不变的现象，理论，定律。

B的错误有"more..as.."，有"it may be that none is" too wordy

但因为该题OG强调主句的2个比较句应为相同的过去式语态，因此B是不是还有一个"none is"的错误？应该改为"none was"？
OG没有指出这个错误。我不知道这里的none is究竟是对还是错？

这里的none is是从句，主句的时态是may be，所以不能换成was
