我做的时候选E，语法笔记解释说， lower只能做形容词,不能修饰动词rose。

但我当时的想法是，(present costs) lower than they were...,即lower直接修饰costs，而不是修饰rose这个动词。

不知我的思路是不是错了呢？

望各位大侠指点迷津...

但我是理解成  costs(n.) lower，lower 作为形容词来修饰costs...
啊...我好多语法搞不清楚啊...剩下15天不到了555555

开始我也是这样想的，但是突然发现，后面是状语的成分应该是只能修饰谓语动词，也就是rise了
