第一步排除A.E，因为as...as结构，而非as...than结构
这里有帖子说as the case在比较结构中的使用的。我选择C是因为觉得it没有合理的指代对象。as was the case是倒装结构，应该是as the case was，但是这里我觉得用倒装整个句子结构平行一致，非常漂亮

这个是比较结构，比较的对象应该对等
比较的对象在这个句子里，是由风力产生的能量的多少在对比，而不是单纯的能量在对比

你的解釋我還是不懂。句中並沒有出現the quantity of energy啊，全局只有一個energy。難道此energy不同於後面it代指的彼energy？

这样解释好了 more than ten times as much energy is generated through wind power now as was the case。。。。比较的对象是是energy is generated through wind power now和energy is generated through wind power in the 1900 ，用case 非常的灵活的表达了这个意思 it的话就让人不太明白
