连接的不是stationary crests and troughs 和 air moving rapidly么。您想说的意思是不是要两个句子although的对比才有意义？一个短语和句子的对比很不协调呢

错误有四：1、although连词，链接句子，E选项although没有所要转折的句子，只有名词。C选项里面although前面有句子（是一个定语从句），有转折的对象，可以。（这是绝对错误）
                2、优选主动，被动小心

我不这样认为
话说这道题的C实在是太怪异了。
如果按照你的说法，although难道是转折了1个定语从句和一个从句吗？
C其实是这个样子的crests and troughs that remain stationary although the air that forms them is moving rapidly
第一个remain stationary是定从，就算是限制性定语从句，起重要意义不能删除，但它终究只是个是modifier，although的前面就是不是个句子，始终是一个phrase：crests and troughs
althouth后面的the air is moving rapidly才真的是一个从句，其中包括一个修饰the air的定语从句，
真不理解OG，难道它要although修饰到定语从句里面，然后再修饰外面的从句？

顶楼上，同问！although作为连词。因为是连词所以两边应该都有完整句子结构，除非有重合可省略部分。
思路错在哪里呢？

也许E算绝对错误，C算相对错误吧，最起码平行对称是满足了，不引起意思误解的句子就是好句子
