我来解释  你的LS意思是说 diminish XXX to deal   DEAL这里做DIMINISH的目的状语

而实际上TO DEAL是解释capability的

所以可能产生误解

这里的ability和capability貌似还是有点区别的。 ability即able一般指有能力去做，但容易受客观条件影响，但capability即capable一般指有才干，是一种天生的属性，和自身特性有关。所以capability是一般是不会受到Sulfur dioxide影响的，所以C是不对的~
