第三单元

第21题

思路：B不完整

over the past twenty years修饰不清，and are无并列对象

E结构混乱

考点：应该补出谓语

and are表示are前面一定还有动词与之并列，没有则错误

amassing和having amassed一样，是形容词而非动词所以C缺少第一个主动词

D时态不一致-----这题其实我不太理解OG的解释，大家看18楼Zylrt MM的解释，我好像能看懂她的解释但又好像还没有消化，有点纠结。。。

思路：对应前面的动词do

考点：和思路一样

第23题

思路： lined的主语应该是weight,排除CDE


B中according to不准确

考点： 主语应该是discus而非weight

要用过去时和现在时分别描述过去和现在的情况

D缺少主动词

E缺少and后面的动词

做到这里发现句子成分的缺失往往是main verb的缺失，有可能是惟一一个main verb丢失，也有可能是并列成分中其中一个main verb缺失

考点：attempt to和try重复

v+ing可以做名词但是往往不够简洁，尤其在有所有格的情况下----这个解释了为什么attempt优于try

这道题答案我没问题，但是我不明白最后的the chemical irritant作什么句子成分，划线部分应该怎么翻译呢？

考点：原句想要表达的最主要的意思是outnumber...所以outnumer才是主动词---看来原句的表面上的重心未必是对的，而要去了解作者真正想表达的意思

有个问题，代词能不能指代宾语的？在sth is sth,which....中，which有没有指代错误？

考点：记错搭配了啦，应该是estimate to be才对，estimate at仅用于作者想表达是在什么地方estimate

谓语provide用复数---看到固定搭配就毫不犹豫的选了，结果固定搭配记错连这个主谓错误都没看出来，晕

思路：A不平行，而且such like错

B中such....as错

考点：such....as明明就是对的！

take seven years应该在pronounced之前属于过去的过去-----不明白为什么只要过去时即可而不是过去完成？不明白这个理解哪里有问题

E中and后面缺少that

考点：

• 是POPE's translation of the lliad花了7年，而不是lliad本身花了7年
  
• 此句重点是想说明Pope began this translation in 1713,其他的都是从属部分，补充说明
  
• A的从句缺少谓语
  
• a work that...pronounced it中it多余----新考点

• 因为E中缺少了that,所以把应该属于从属地位的从句变成了和主句并列的部分
