谢谢版主，我也认为A。 感觉管为东给出的解释好像也很牵强。忽然想到E中还是有错的。can 和have the capability 连用。

2,     'could' is obviously is better than 'capability' 同位语从句倒装

that这里指代engine. 比如a cup of tea that, a cup of 是量词, that指代主体词.


至于E, 有个明显缺陷:could和have capability to do是否意思重复？

如果这里用tested ，which could eventually....，我倒能理解，但A这个句子，总觉得很奇怪，不知道原因。

这道题我还有个疑问就是限制性定语从句中that的后置是否有条件，bryony举的这个例子that是同位语从句，而第6题理解应该是定语从句后置。我感觉谓语是be开头，是可以这样。如

如果后面谓语是其它的情况的例子，我还没找到。
