1、答案是c，是不是省略了that？在demanding 后面？

     不是

2、答案e，为什么d不对，是因为itself吗？那么为什么要使用完成时态？是要同原来的时态保持一致吗？是不是应该用被动语态？a cannon has been proved?
这个题目讨论了很多次了，你自己找一下。prove 可以是不及物动词，不需要使用被动语态。

3、根据逻辑意思的合理性，only应该修饰the second,所以应该放在the second 的前面。
你体会一下。
