Yes, UIUC's MSF requires 300 words PS. I did it before, one page, double space, 300 words

I shortened my two pages PS into one.

Just answer the key questions: why MSF, why now, why UIUC, why you and your career plan.

May I ask you a question?

I'm a student with Gmat 750, T 105, GPA3.8 and with excellent intership in finance. But I do not have any paper issued and my undergraduate college is not famous at all. Should I apply for UIUC's program?

I have already got diploma.

Thanks...

I remember seeing somewhere that you had DB internship. In fact, I believe you can apply to any top tier schools. Paper is almost useless in MSF application. Not graduating from top schools is not a problem either. UIUC is not that difficult to enter, trust me. I got accepted by UIUC several years ago but I did not go to UIUC at the end.

Looking at the school list in your signiture, I would say Purdue UIUC and BU are OK programs, the other programs are just so so. You may try rochester, bc and WUSTL, they are about the same levels as Purdue UIUC and BU.

But if I were you, I would try LSE as well. LSE has several finance programs. They are better than any MSF programs in US beside MIT and Princeton.

Thank you very much. I will fight for them!
