有時候, 插入的東東很短, 有些書建議把commas omitted.

Anyway, 這題不是考comma, 而這種comma omission (if I remember correctly) 從來不是考點.

只是我仍有点疑虑:
1.这里作者作为陈述一个fact，而不是自己的观点，感觉不管插入成分是限制性的还是非限制性的意思差别都不是很大(我回头再体会一下，不过这也正符合了alien兄说的comma在此不成考点的说法...)
2.这里的most scientists agree虽然短，但还是插入语的基本形式

anyway，comma omission不会是考点

如果按aeoluseros斑竹 说的a phenonmenon (that)most scientists agree 这里是省略定语从句的that，而把宾语从句的that留下可以嘛？

那如果按AlienX斑竹说的是插入语的话，为什么不能在前面做插入语呢？

OG里面对B的解释已经有了:That is should immediately follow phenomenon, not agree.

这句话里可以看出来：
1.同位语从句的that必须跟在概括词后面。
2."that is"是整体。

插入语的位置总是很关键，它只从属于离它最近的分句，比如这里就肯定只从属于a phenonmenon that引导的同位语从句里。所以逻辑意思也有不同

这句recession后面如果加了that，后面的是同位语从句，而不是定语从句。所以一定要加that。

定语从句的话，基本上如果句子清晰的话，只要先行词在从句中做宾语，就可以省。
