答案是A 这个that many是什么东西？怎么理解 D怎么不对？？？？？

查了下此题答案为B less不用于可数 amount也不用于可数

个人理解，仅供参考
that many，many应该做名词，指前面那个population；

be less than，是修饰动词 be的，只有在修饰名词时，less才修饰不可数，fewer修饰可数
