[讨论]为什么HBS的Reference Letter字数限制到这么少？

1. Please comment on the context of your interaction with the applicant. How long have you known the applicant and in what connection? If applicable, briefly describe the applicant's role in your organization.

2. Please describe the most important piece of constructive feedback you have given the applicant. Please detail the circumstances and the applicant's response.

3. Please make additional statements about the applicant's performance, potential, or personal qualities you believe would be helpful to the MBA Admissions Board.

三个问题都是限制250字。而且强烈建议整个推荐信不要超过一页。Stanford就明确表示2-4页的推荐信比较合适。

我老板都在跟我抱怨说250个字根本写不了什么具体例子，只能挑几个优点都只能泛泛的说一下。大家是怎么处理的？谢谢！

瞎猜的：他们的逻辑是如果你的推荐人连这点归纳能力都没有的话，他的推荐也要打个问号了，呵呵

Most recommenders find 2-4 pages (double-spaced, using 12-point font) sufficient to relay their impressions and perspectives.
