还是想问一下工作空窗期的问题

为了准备GT辞职了，网申的时候current empolyment就只能填unemployed，挺不好看得。。。这会不会对申请起到很大的负面影响啊？

如果以后要面试的话被问起来，怎么说呢？

绝对不应该仅仅因为准备gt而辞职，在你申请过程中，一直维持工作状态是很重要的。你并不能评估你辞职准备gt的成绩比你不辞职能够高出一个档次，即使g高出几十分，我个人觉得也非常不值得。

尤其在面试的时候，如果你说为了准备这个考试辞职了，一方面在美国人眼里觉得太奇怪了，他们无法理解为什么考试需要全职准备；一方面，体现出你并不能同时作两件以上的事情，你的时间管理和压力管理能力太差，这个在商学院是大忌，绝对会有负面影响，会重新评估你在商学院是否能够生存下去的可能。

所以，千万别辞职，而且你并不能有把握一定能够申请成功，这样，今后的重新就业压力太大了。你总会被问起这段辞职经历，你的下一任老板也会衡量你今后的工作安全和负责程度。慎重吧。

But I know someone who quit his job and prepared GMAT, essay and other application package, and finally got the offer from MIT last year. So, it's not definitely. Sometimes, you have to push yourself to the end and finally achieve your dreams.

And I guess under this economic crisis, lots of people got fired and prepared their application. So, do not worry about it too much.

可以辞职，但是要很好的解释这个事情。
绝对不能说是因为GMAT而辞职，可以说是为了家庭，为了怀孕的老婆，为了年迈多病的父母。。。
并且如果把辞职期间的故事写成好的essay，也不是个很坏的事情。

可是我已经辞了阿，就像charmy说的，push yourself to the end，不然不知道要拖到哪一年才能出去

可不可以说因为对公司的忠诚，公司不同意出国，但自己又不想cheat

楼上说的那几个理由都不适合我阿，事实上家里也没有什么事情一定要辞职的，这种story实在想不出来阿

You can do something helpful to your application while you stay at home. Quit is real, you cannot change, but you can change your present status.

You may not just prepare for the examination and essay at home every minute. For example, go to volunteer for NGOs after the exam, do some research or even get an intern opportunity in the field you want to work in future. People like no pay worker.

There are lots of things to do. Do not just focus on present, you have to look forward to future, but you must get every present moment valuable.
