D错在 take something some time to do something是一个惯用的表达

而take something some time until是很rare的,可以说没见过吧

不过我也对E有疑问:and so they are....有两个连词and和so可以吗?

貌似在prep中看到说and和so都是连词，一起用重复...但是我觉得这边so的确是要的，因为表达的因果关系,省略了意思就不一样了
