我记得manhattan SC上面有过这种话，说that/which修饰的时候可以把of结构省略过去，直接修饰of结构修饰的名词~

我也关注了很多跳跃修饰，基本是n+介宾，跳跃介宾修饰前面的n.
那能否分析下这道题，答案是C。 A哪里错了呢？句子结构应该是scientists observed sth(large...deposits) in a place(upper twenty......sediments),which are.... 这里which跳过地点状语而修饰前面的宾语large...dposits 难道不对吗？解释说which错误的修饰了sediments...

我注意到og13已经移除了og12中106题，看来gmac也觉得这个which的跳跃修饰不大合理。
不过og13里面126题还是存在的，也就是说that跳跃还是存在，建议看到that的时候多多从逻辑上面分析一下指代词，但是我是倾向于which是不能跳跃的，因为og13大量的题目都表达了which是必须要紧接着先行词的。
至于GWD还有大全上的，我建议还是以最新版og为参考吧。

问一个从来没有问过的知识点哈~为什么beginning和ending可以用进行时态表示伴随呢？一直记得老师说这两个词不能用进行时啊
