见某老帖中有解释：

(E)中which引导的是定语从句，是指代household appliances的，这样的话，定语从句就变成

household appliances would have been a miracle，前后单复数不一致了。

弱弱的问一句;名词复数+would have been a miracle，真的不能这样用么？

这题E被排除是因为 which一定必须绝对要用逗号隔开

sth（复数） would have been a miracle 我觉得是可以的

回去面壁思了一下which， deadpig1987的意思是不是说这里要用一个非限定性定语从句？

不过我还是觉得，既然名词复数+would have been a miracle是对的，而这里限定性和非限定性从句在句子意思方面又都说的通（限定性：那些appliances是miracle，非限定：所有appliances都是miracle)

所以，还是不太明白，呵呵~

另外还有一个关于which的定语从句的问题，见大全771有讨论楼层说：GMAT语法中限定修饰不能用which，一般语法中可以。是这样么？求证~呵呵~谢谢啦~

我的意思是 如果要用which,就一定要用逗号把这个隔开。不管这里是不是要用限定性定语从句，它用了which并且没有用逗号把它隔开就必错。

对 GMAT里限定性修饰绝对不能用which,因为意思会改变。

但是非限定性的有时候也会用that,就没那么严格了。

E选项中有三个错误：
1. be able to afford: 常用的表达是can afford；
2. their指代有问题,就近指代appliances
3. be a miracle to their grandparents 不如 their grandparents would have found miraculous
