 明显排除ABC,然后再CD当中纠结。答案是D,但我觉得还是有错的。it是不是指代不清楚呐？既能够指代temprature,又可以指代number，不是有一个就近指代的原则的吗，那就是指代tempreture,所以就肯定错了.
E中，V-ING做后置定语，有两种用法，一种是就近修饰前面的名词，一种是做主语的伴随。答案上说是因为修辞不对而错误，我就想不通了。。为啥不能修饰主语呐？？？？？？

很快地选了E，然后发现答案是D.....

难道in fact和 possibly 不能同时出现的问题？

E选项也因为将can 换成possible，改变了意思，并且v-ing 修饰temprature而改变意思而排除，

但我还是对D中的it指代问题耿耿于怀，指代一旦错误就意思改变了，这个问题我觉得还是很严重的。经管gmat是选择相对较好的答案，而不是正确的答案，但是对于DE中选项中哪个错误更严重，我真的不知道该怎么权衡。考试的时候就怕遇到这样的问题，还忘牛人指点指点。

不觉得这里的v+ing能修饰temperature

S+V+O，v+ing..形式中v-ing 2个功能

1：作为S+V+O的伴随结果，和S没有直接的逻辑关系

2：S是v+ing的逻辑主语

如果是做后置定语修饰temperature那应该没有逗号才对，而且现在分词作定语时，它表示的动作是正在进行或与谓语动词所表示的动作几乎同时发生，如果两个动作有先有后，一般不能用现在分词作定语
