5. that few people have significantly reduced the amount of driving they do or made                                                                                                               这里选择E没有疑议，但是为什么使用的是or 呢？都说否定词后面的并列应当使用or。但是xdf老师明确说过否定词只有no 和not。但是这里为什么还要使用Or?是不是近几年，出题机构的思路调整了？请教大牛指点！这种类型的few,little之类含有否定意义的词后面用Or 并列的情况是绝对的吗？多谢！

我个人感觉：

对or的用法不是绝对，在这里可以明显看到前后动词的并列选项

排除法：indicate后需要加that，排除掉AB

C选项having...直接排除

D和E的比较中，E平行且清晰

多谢，这道题做出来倒是不难正如你所说，主要我就觉得OR 和 AND的用法太诡异了

并不是只能否定能用or,也并不是肯定都要用and的。你学过数学相信你也能理解吧。 a or B的话 是并集 而 A and B的话则是2个的交集。

few people do A or B.    很少有人在  A和B的并集里

few people do A and B   很少有人在 A和B的交集里 。

不同的意思。

放到这题目里面就是 

few people have significantly reduced the amount of driving they do or made fuel efficiency a priority when shopping for cars.

这里有2件事情，一个是减少驾驶量，另外一个是挑选节能型车。

题目的愿意是 很少有人能做到这2件事中的任何一件。

变成and的话，意思就变成 很少有人能同时做到这2件事。

不知道这样讲你能不能理解。XDF的东西critical地对待。绝对的。
