While it is true that doctors, lawyers, and business leader have great influence in society, hardly can I agree that teacher should be paid less than doctors, lawyers, and business leader.

For one thing, teachers are indispensible in the process of human beings development. No matter what the great civilization and types of the ideologies of societies are, the profession of teaching has always been regarded as a vital element to promote social development. By educating people, teachers not only demonstrate the importance of knowledge but also guide the path to gain expertise knowledge. Through teachers' help, people sum up the valuable experiences and professional skills. What’s more, it is the teachers who bring the key to the door of success for the doctors, lawyers and business leaders. Teachers give the most doctors the specialized knowledge to save patients' lives. Teachers inspire the most lawyers to fight for the justice. Teachers bring to the most business leaders the capability to operate the enterprises. Therefore, the doctors, lawyers and business leaders are able to achieve their social stature. And with these people's success, human beings can develop to advanced society and have a better life than ever before. Without teachers' efforts, human-being cannot survive, not even to mention to accumulate knowledge and experiences. Only in the society where knowledge and experiences are consider not important can teacher become useless. No doubt, seldom can this kind of society exist. Therefore, the role of teachers is at least as important as the one of doctors, lawyers and business leaders. And teachers should earn the salaries which are fit to their position. That is to say, teachers should be paid as much as doctors, lawyers and business leaders.

For another, only by raising the salary level of teacher to the level of doctors, lawyers and business leaders can attract more people to dedicate themselves to the career of teacher. It is known to us that the gap between the salary of doctors, lawyers and business leaders still continues to widen. Moreover, the teachers devote no less the effort than doctors, lawyers and business leaders do. By filling in the gap, teacher can gain a sense of esteem and respect, resulting in appealing to the most of applicants. By improving the salary condition of teachers, can teachers better to devote themselves to the career of educating, resulting in the improvement of teaching qualities which is beneficial to the students who are the potential doctors, lawyers and business leaders. A good case in point concerns Japan, the world's second largest economy by nominal GDP. Respecting the teacher and rewarding the teachers highly are somewhat crucial elements to accelerate its economical development. Indeed, in a society known as respecting the teacher, it is arguably pity and shame that teachers earn less than the doctors, lawyers and business leaders.
