I didn't know cornell has already made some decisions. My officemate(OM) just told me his advisor asked him some questions about the application.
Don't envy those study physics or chemistry or bio. There are way much more supply than demand in the job market after their graduation. They will realize and regret then. professional schools (b,l,m) are way much better ways. The profile you see is incomplete. Currently, we have marketing (11) accounting (10) finance (8), organization(7), operation(2). One finance girl just transferred to accounting@mit without any application but an email on Dec.(she applied at dec 1st and got admitted at dec 3rd). sigh, it recalls me how much effort I put when I applied. and half of the 8 students are on the job markets. So we only have 4 the next semester. We also have 3 chinese people in marketing. That's all the chinese people.
There are only two students in OM! Last year, they offered two admissions in the first round. It seems that most admitted students choose not to join. A little strange.
