答案是a, 但是我觉得结构上不平行：there are much larger populations ....in soils with ...than in soils that..... than 后应该补出代词those 指代population 才对呀？请指教。

1.      正确选项中为什么比较的时候后边还用in soils 而不用those? 因为这样更清楚，避免了代词指带的不清楚。

可是e中those前有in和in soils 平行,怎么会指代不清呢？
