转帖于中欧主页: http://www.ceibs.edu/media/archive/40633.shtml June 8, 2009 -- Six top-ranked international business schools, IESE Business School, London Business School, NYU Stern Business School, University of Cambridge Judge Business School, UCLA Anderson School of Management and CEIBS, will go head to head on June 21st in a battle to claim the top spot in Innovate China Global Challenge 2009. This year's competition is being held under the theme "China Going Global". Competing teams, internally selected by participating schools, will be presented with the details of the Grand Challenge during an official welcome dinner on June 18. The challenge will be to find a workable solution to the real-life problems presented by a Chinese company. Then, over the next two days, innovateChina contestants will meet with company executives to gain additional insight into the issues raised. The teams will present their solutions to the case before a public audience on the 21st of June at the CEIBS campus in Shanghai. Members of the distinguished panel of judges that will challenge their ideas and rate their performance in order to identify the winning team include: - Andrew Grant, Head of Greater China, McKinsey & Company; - Ren Shi You, President of Shanxi Tangrong Group as well as the main sponsor of the competition; - Rudi Von Meister, China General Manager of IVECO Fiat S.p.A. - Horst Loechel, Chairman and Vice President of Shanghai International Banking and Finance Institute; and - Terence Tsai, CEIBS Associate Professor of Management. The winning team will receive a cash prize. Innovate China Global Challenge was successfully established, in 2008, as the first international business school competition in China. It has since become an annual event organized by CEIBS MBA students for their peers from all over the world.
