不觉得这里有任何的歧义。

另外，想请教一下，not as ... as that of the Maya与

not as ... as the Maya's这两种方法是否都是正确的。

E是run-on (除非however之前有semi-colon)
not as ... as the Maya's也可以

喔，明白了。E是 the Aztec people also developed a written language与 it was more pictographic in nature两个谓語句子没有连词对吧。
